ABOUT US
Help & Care Charity Association (HCCA) is a Geneva-based charitable organization moved by Christian faith aimed at helping people in need live in dignity, regardless of their color, gender or religion beliefs, and empowering local communities in Egypt, with a special focus in Port-Said where the family roots belong to.
Food
Many people lack the most fundamental access to safe and healthy food, especially in light of the repercussions of the Coronavirus pandemic which had a negative impact on the economy as well as the people. By feeding the body, your generosity and kindness will feed the soul. Providing the needy with essential food will makes them feel that they are not left out.
Essentials
Many families, each with their individual needs, are struggling to buy the most basic supplies for their daily use. A special attention will be given to children to provide them with powder milk, diapers, school material, warm clothing and medicines. The Charity will channel these essentials directly to families in need.
Health
In a country where up to 73% of total healthcare costs are paid directly from people’s pockets, the Charity seeks to improve access to healthcare services, increase affordability and reduce out of pocket costs paid by families.
The burden of sickness and disease severely reduces the ability of a family to grow in stability and plan a better future. Health is a boon. Help us care for it !
Education
Education is the first step on the route out of poverty. Yet around the world, an estimated 263 million children and young people are not in school. With our partners, the Port Said Learning Centre (PLC), we have built a school with its own facilities with trained teachers, provided educational resources and more.
Shelter
HCCA’s vision is a world where everyone has a safe place to call home. We believe that a decent home helps to permanently break the cycle of poverty and allows families to achieve strength, stability, and self-reliance.
For this particular reason, HCCA will help support the “House of the Egyptian Family” based in Port-Said which represents a safe place for orphans, threatened and disabled people in the region.
